Cool Some Bling for Banana.............................

............................................... Matt Darke kindly fitted the chrome surrounds on Banana's dials. And he also replaced the old wing repeaters with the MK1 smoked ones. Look ok against the Yellow. Matt also stripped down the the window switch pack on the drivers door and cleaned the terminals. He also checked that the window had not come off it's runners. It's been sticking whilst trying to close.

1-Chrome surround on the dials.
2-Smoked repeaters
3-New rear lights fitted by Matt last month.
4-Ceramic coating still working.

Those black and chrome dial surrounds look so much better than the rhodium ones in the ZT's. Remember to fit the chrome ring for the clock to match as well

Default bling

That looks great Bob, I wish I could afford the ceramic, and like to get the smoked glass side lights.

Mk1 side repeaters look so much better Bob, I think I may obtain some for the ZT and Frosty

Guess what I've just bought

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-GENUI...72.m2749.l2649

They have to be better than the rubbish fitted to the facelift, in as much as........

They don't fill up with water

The retaining tang doesn't rot away and then it flaps about on the wire.

Don't look like Chinese tat.

I can't wait until they arrive.

The condensation was horrendous in them. The chrome part used to break away. And as you said the fixings snap.
Hope you are happy them.

I'm sure I will be Bob, after all the ones fitted to Mrs MB's Freelander are fine after 20 years

They are of course orange........I might have to try them in to see what they look like

Brian

P.S. if anyone is thinking about these, the part number is XGB000030

They were originally designed and fitted by Peter Chilton aka Klarzy 5 years ago.
