Thanks Wes
We'll be there on Sunday, can't make Saturday qualifying as I've promised my neice that we will watch her singing at the Poundbury Food and Arts festival tomorrow.

Good image that!

Judging by the numerous rubber traces on the track there, all the bikes appear to be defying basic laws of physics on two wheelers.

Well done.

Ryan being the first rider who is not a big well known name or face in these BSB events.

Could be... hope so.

Me, I've been a Scott Redding Fan for sometime now ever since I read he was born locally ... In Gloucester.

Redding demonstrated extreme patience in a race I watched recently and came from behind to secure yet another impressive win.

As spectacular as they are on modern safe and sanitised tracks, you can keep your modern GP heroes like Marc Marquez... I'm very prejudiced having attended events and watched the likes of Agostini on the MV Agustas ( my all time favourite motor cycles ) and my all time favourite ... S.M.B. Hailwood who actually lapped the TT Mountain Course at over 100mph on a Single Cylinder Machine. He also won a Senior TT on a single cylinder Norton.

I had the privilege of seeing Mike the Bike Hailwood in action on the magnificent Honda 6.

When Mike moved over to Formula 1, I travelled back from the Spanish GP in Jarama in IIRC 1974 along with several friends and Mike Hailwood on the same plane. Also on the plane, one Ronnie Petersen. Both favourites taken from us well before their time. Mike's demise came not on dangerous racing circuits like the Mountain Course on the Island, but on a shopping trip in his Rover SD1 V8 if memory serves.

Superb never to be forgotten memories for this old Motor Sport enthusiast who's interest started back in the 1950s when folks like Moss and Fangio drove those silver arrows with the three-pointed-star logos on them.
