Default Navall 3 Star removing battery

Hi everyone

Im after a little advice i have to disconnect my battery for a few hours while i do a job on the engine, Will the headunit loose all its settings after i disconnect it ? If so what is the best way to keep it from losing its settings while doing this job please.

It depends on your unit. I have had numerous jobs done on my ZT and ZT-T which required detaching the battery (units being NavAll and xTrons). After reconnecting the settings were preserved. Note that it (obviously) didn't remember the last song I was listening to though
