Another year's MoT
Do these cars have ears?
I don't usually like to say that something is running well, or going great, as it tempts fate. I recently did say that my 75 was going great with no recent problems. Within a couple of days the exhaust could be heard, there was a clunk and a groan at the rear, and the ABS light came on! After fitting a new exhaust bracket, new offside rear wheel bearing and speed sensor, all was back to normal. The car went in for an MoT yesterday, and failed on two corroded front flexible brake pipes. They were changed, but the MoT shows two advisories. Both anti-roll bar ball joint dust covers need replacing. Why not mention it up front? They could have been replaced at the same time! I suppose it's not a big deal though.
