Unless you require other drugs via this method, but they get sneaky because you still have drink loads. They have left me alone today, no nagging lol. Finally had the last 2 cannular's removed and l won't be going on any antibiotics either. Just the drain left. Sent from my moto g(7) power using Tapatalk

I came home on Monday 14th at about 4pm.
It only took me 5 hours to get out of the hospital after being given the all clear from my Consultant, that I could go home. I had to get the Taxi driver who hated the NHS and it's Nurses and endured a 45 minute journey home with him rambling on. Still being home was nice and plus it was 6 degrees cooler than the hospital, I mean 24'C you had to endure, way too hot for me. Haven't been doing much apart from sleeping, I am sleeping over 9 hours at night, haven't been able to do that for over a year. Plus tend to sleep in the chair in the afternoons and after food. I reckon I must be sleeping 15 hours a day at the moment. I have the Community Nurses coming to see me on Monday's and Thursday's to change my dressing regarding my drain hole which apparently heals on it's own without stitches. I am now allowed to drive but because I know I cannot perform an emergency stop without causing myself pain, I have decided it's best not to. The weather is going to be nasty over the next couple of days and I'm not bothered about going anywhere, much nicer at home.

No drugs, but had to wait for the Discharge Letter to be typed up.

Ah yes, I'd forgotten about that. One of the many things that extra finance won't change and whilst you're waiting five hours for a letter, another hapless patient is on a trolley in A&E unable to have your bed.
All the best to you, Simon

As soon as I was told I could go home, I got dressed and they were stripping the bed down and I had to make my way down to the Common Room. Talk about efficient. I'm still not driving as the drain hole is right under where the seat belt goes on me, very painful it still is. My car is fine as I have been starting it up once a week and letting it run for about 20 minutes.
