Also a BM-53 steering wheel control for my Poineer AX350DAB unit.

Oh yess,,,,,,and connect up my Hansgauge! (Remember them!)
All finally finished today!
Decided to treat myself to a new head unit as well as i've endured lockdown enough to not care!!
Fitted a Pioneer 9200DAB double din. Very nice and swarve!!
It knocked the spots off the old 3500dab. Complete with 'James Bond' touches as well. (motorised positionable screen)
New Focal 4320 amp mounted in the rear of the glove box which has now been updated LED lighting.
Re-fitted a new DAB screen antena higher up the windscreen and now pick up 40 plus stations!! Excellent as it was flakey before when fitted lower down.

Car now sounds unbelievable no matter what I play or watch and no cables required for Car Play or any other device!!

Haven't bothered with rear camera as yet as cant decide where to mount on a tourer.

I made good progress in getting Daisy back on the road on 1 June. Just a bit of internal trim to fix back in, Isopon on the holes in the boot (!) and a trip straight to the tyre place to replace three non-MOT-worthy rubbers. Scrubs up well after a winter of slog to get her looking good.

Not sure who will end up driving it though.

Came across a couple spare bits I've had hanging about,

Rear camera and an MG rear badge mount ..
Had this mod this planned for a long while ..

So a quick bit of cad design in tinkercad on the web, and a 1 hour 3D print to produce a plastic camera mount.

blob or 2 of araldite, some filler, paint etc ...
and Voila ..

.
all ready to pop on the V8 . as the CDTI already has a camera ..

PS ..DOH... Having not been out to the 260 for a while , made a bit if a boo boo
Today went out to pop in a bit of power wiring for the camera and AARRGH!

Totally forgot the Bigguns only got the hoop spoiler and not the Lip.
So hasn't got the larger MG badge mount .

Oh well looks like the CDTI is getting this new mount and camera & the Other camera is coming to the V8 with another type mount ( to be designed )

So Me 1 part smart A**e & 1 part dimdick ..!

Checked the hub nut to see if it had been staked, it had been to a degree, a tap with a punch made sure tho.

The nut needs replacing as billy bodge has been here too.
