Drivers Door Lock
Hi all
I have read all I can find about door locks and I appear to have a slightly different problem. All the doors will lock/unlock correctly with the key or remote EXCEPT the drivers door. Nothing appears to lift the lock indicator, which raises a point how to unlock the door to even investigate the problem. Any guidance would be appreciated. Regards The Admiral |

Hi Guys
TYPICAL, if all else fails read the handbook. I have now been able to open the drivers door by pulling the interior handle twice, so my problem if probably the sme as everyone elses. I will whip the door card off and see whats going on inside. Thanks for your help The Admiral |

There's a metal bar with + head on each side which connects the key lock to the lock actuator. My guess is either that has some loose of somethings broken inside the actuator. But if it's not even unlocking with the fob I'd say it's new actuator time.
I've fitted 3 of these in total so far to both my 75 & ZT. They seem to jam somehow from the inside so canont be repaired. Think this is the one. They do come up on ebay at time for about £25 second hand.

Hi
Thanks for the info. Is the adjustment of this part best left to a garage or is it easy to fit? Regards The Admiral |
