Not part of the Lookers group but yes, they have closed one down not a million miles away a short time ago.

Complete empathy Steve, companies have a habit of doing this as a nice Christmas present, if you remember Carillion threatened me with this at this time of year seven years on the trot.
Have to say when it finally came it was a shock but turned out to be a good thing. I know from our conversations you have/had other opportunities, hopefully these may still be an option and as for Ross, " Dave says" Well he is young, good looking, taller than his dad and a hard worker to boot, he won't have a problem

Sorry to hear that Steve, been there, but I firmly believe that as one door closes another will open. Perhaps someone in the club local to you could help you with storage of the 260. Hold onto it as long as you can. Best of luck to you both.

All the very best to you and your Son and this difficult time.

Maybe a career change might be an option?

Thanks for all the kind words, I feel better now the initial shock has passed, there are plenty of people in a far worse position than we are.
I have got a few things going on now that hopefully will sort me out for the time being and then move forwards from there. It just needs sorting now as it is an awful atmosphere at work at the moment, obviously not surprising given the circumstances.
Ross should be able to sort something soon, as Dave has already pointed out, he is much younger than me, taller than me (but so are most people!!) and, even though I say it myself, he is a decent lad too.

Steve.
