Default Navall Star - Fatal Error message

I know I should not have even allowed the thought into my head - but I did

Driving the ZTT for the first time in few days so decided to check the iGo Sat Nav - and I was delighted to see it had no trouble finding “a satellite”.

And it managed to stay locked on to one for quite some time.

Then, no kidding - not a word of a lie - I made the error of thinking “Oh good - this Star is really good when it’s working.

Then out of the corner of my eye I see the map disappear and a message saying “Fatal Error” .......

Next a message said re-insert iGo card - which I did but no joy.

So from having a unit that gave me slightly less than a 50/50 chance of having a working Sat Nav - it has now stopped working at all.

Overall the Navall Star has been a very disappointing experience - I will probably go back to a quality single din unit and a dash carrier for my totally reliable iPhone with Google Maps.
