Unfortunately Chris they are very unlikely to give a toss.

Complaining to a hospital about such trivial matters as clinical negligence leading a dementia patient to become dehydrated, being left so long in spilt drink that it dried, medications being incorrectly administered, being left covered in excrement etc etc doesn't elicit a response that could be considered as half decent. They only appear to care about their own backs and not patient safety.

As for somebody getting a parking ticket, I would be amazed if they even acknowledge your letter

Another way to tackle Parking Eye would be to argue that the grace period was insufficient for your elderly father and the policy is discriminatory on grounds of health/disability? Worth a go as that looks to be the case here.

Might be worth a punt as PE once contacted me to complain about my patronage of Aldi. I referred it to Aldi and asked how it wished to proceed and in light of my most recent shopping receipt from it at the time and who knows, maybe local alternatives to its services too, the matter was closed. Granted that some elements of the public payroll are well up themselves and would be ill-advised to give up their day job but there are some decent and able people among them who believe in delivering good service and fair play.

I know or I suspect that I know what you mean re the NHS response when questions arise about service and patient outcomes. In fairness I suspect that the response is often cash driven by the bean counters back-of-house so to speak and not necessarily what those at the sharp end would wish.
