I forgot to add that my braces are Union Jack (flag) patterned, another reason for wearing them under a sweater......

You are just about getting old when you can remember without a trace of embarrassment the first punks, wearing their braces hanging down around their bony nethers.

When I was 17, remembering that everybody I knew then that was 75 had been dead 10 years.

My oldest grandparent was 6 years younger than I am now when she died....
