Seconded, I'd love a photo of this - could well be this item

Got it, thank you.
I've ordered a batch from XPart, so they should be with us tomorrow.

Looks like a different part that performs the same job.

Thanks for the photo.

No problem. Mine is an 03 reg, and the plate looks in similar condition to the rest of the slam panel so I would assume it's been there from the factory.

The later post 2002 cars had the part welded onto the slam panel at the factory

This is why diesels have a round yellow sticker with diesel written on it

Walter, I'll have some in shortly with any luck.
Not so!, the shedder does in fact 'sit' in the path of the air intake cut or uncut, it was designed to deflect water spray from entering the air intake and finding its way to the MAF filament via the air filter. In standard tune or even reasonably tuned, say 135 or 160 state, you will not notice a vast improvement in cutting back the trunking, and if the Shedder is not in place, you should NOT cut it back as this will increase the likelihood of MAF contamination via water ingress.

You don't need me to tell you that air flows round obstacles, where as water droplets crash and are deflected off of the shedder, which is after all just that, a metal deflector, it is very effective.

This is a 2003 bulletin, but I am interested to see if MGR even fitted this on the production line after the bulletin date, plus how they attached it.
It is welded on the panel above and in front of the air intake, take the grill off if mark 1 and the surrounding plastic trip, and there it is right in the middle.
