Question Why is my 75 cutting out ?

Hi,my 75 tourer, is cutting out at 1100 revs. About 6 weeks ago it just would not start. I replaced the cam sensor, crank angle sensor. Still would not start. I then replaced the fuel pump under the bonnet. Since changing the fuel pump, the engine starts but won't rev. I have put a new in tank pump on. Still won't rev. This afternoon I tried the old pump. The engine would not start. I am at the end of my tether. I am thinking of now selling the car, but don't know what it's worth as a none runner. Any help or advise will be much appreciated.

If the car will start and only idle, you will need one of THESE

If you unplug the low pressure sensor on the fuel filter head, and the car will rev freely, then you need to revisit what you've done when fitting the ITP, as I would suspect you've disturbed something you shouldn't have

HTH

I have a pedal assembly if you need one from the car I'm breaking, I also have the filter head if you need that? I know the filter cap/head can be a issue

Kind regards mick

Tim when you replaced the under bonnet pump did you remove the little transparent pipe end cover some of them come with on the inlet side of the pump?

I've seen exactly the same symptoms when the cover was stuck in the pipe below the pump and blocking the supply.
