Tip: When you get to step f), the screen will look the same as it did when you started off, with 'test_1.' showing. However, just continue the pressing until it shows 'test_7' . Stop there. The screen will display a three digit number (eg 012) which is the temperature in Centigrade (12 degrees C in the example).

If you wish to monitor things while driving, start the engine, then go into diagnostic mode and select the test screen before starting off. The screen will revert back to normal if you press and hold the trip button, or you turn off the ignition.
