Cool Royal Blue ZT 190 Ex Scrap Yard Resident

The paintwork on my ZT has now been corrected and 2yr ceramic coating applied. Paintwork was in a pretty bad state but she has come up great. Pictures below of before during and after treatment. Just a pity the sun has decided it is a bit shy so still waiting for a decent sunlit after shot. Hopefully the wheels will be refurbished next week in a different shade of Anthracite to what they are currently.

Looks lovely. Will look out for it next time I’m up in the area!

Cheers folks, happy with the progress so far. This site has been invaluable for the advice contained within. Many plans for it but money as always the deciding factor

Looks great. I had a set of gloss black rims on 2 of my royal blue 75s before, imo, really suits the colour and would look great in apexs.

I do like black rims, had them on my XPG ZS and looked grand but I prefer Anthracite. I got them done in ‘Mistral Anthracite’ in the end. Had a hurl up to Inverness at the weekend to catch up with a few mates and this also meant I got to have a shot in my old Metro VVC. Still miss it but the ZT was great fun and ran sweet as a nut, also let my mate Who bought the Metro have a shot and he was most impressed too. He has already booked himself as the next owner whenever I sell it lol.

Although I gave the headlights a quick clean up soon after getting the car they were still fairly poor and the fog lights have been cloudy on the inside along with the indicators being dull and rough feeling. So today was bumper off, stripped apart the fog lights and they cleaned up nicely, removed the indicators and gave them a go over with wet n dry then polished up. Finally moved onto headlights and used the Holts Headlight refurb kit to get the headlights looking far better. Before and after a below:
