Did mine a while back. Postal vote. I have to go to work before the polling stations open. After a 14h day I can't be bothered to go after work, so it's easier to do it by post

I've got meetings in London so will have to 'Do The Biz' once I'm home off the train this evening. I'm looking forward to watching Sky Art's coverage of the behind the scenes of the Election results programme Sky News will be putting out.
Often this is far more entertaining than the actual show itself |

I am working on a polling station today , here at 6.30 am , close at 10pm then onto the count which will be well into the early hours as local and general to count, but it's been busy so far and better than recent years so maybe we will get a good turnout for once

Day off today, so going after I've done breakfast!
However, I do find it strange that in 2015, you can register to vote on-line, using a username and password that comes through your letter box and they then send you a piece of card that you don't even have to produce (or ID) in order to cast your vote, using a pencil! The whole system should be on-line (with postal votes for the very few without internet access) not only would we know the result by 10.05 pm on polling day, it would also prevent 120% turnout in some areas of the Country! By the way, I shall be taking a black biro with me to vote, as I want my vote to be counted properly! |
