Replaced the Door finishers on my Dad's 75 which have needed replacing for some time, the front passenger side one had rusted through badly.

Before:

After:

Much better

I've not seen another one that badly rusty on another car either, my dad's had bad luck with these, his old MK1 75 had badly rusting door finishers like this too. Thanks

Rick that looks a "job well done". How hard would you say that was? I turned away from a 75 recently with finishers like that as I could find any help on how to do it.

Thanks Fred It wasn't difficult at all, just a bit fiddly when it came to putting the scews back in.

There's some fantastic guidence here:

Just have to roll the window down, peal back the rubber trim slightly which gives you access to the 3 screws on each finisher, once the screws are removed you pull the top out so you can get your fingers behind it and then move it slightly side to side whilst pulling it upwards to remove it

Don't want to show off, but mine is worse than this, just about to get a pair delivered, so can rectify the situation.

Nice one, great links and info. Thanks all for input.

Has anybody replaced all four, considering their age, would they all not be suffering and if so, roughly how much?
