Well sadly I had to make a big decision this week.

I had hoped my blue saloon would have sold as I needed the funds to prep my blue tourer for mot knowing it would need a few things that I sadly didn't have spare.

So the choice was either park it up and wait until I could afford it all, which would have been a while as both my zt-t needs an engine and the freelander hasn't hit not yet due to a cv boot issue, and it would have been sitting and wasting.

So after 6 and a half years I couldn't bear to scrap here so a local enthusiastic owner is taking her on as his rough daily and I'm giving him all the spares I had for it to make sure it stays on the road.

Had to get a picture of the two together before she went, and the blue saloon whilst not as practical or well spec Ed has half the miles, and after I rebuilt the interior zero noise, and hardly any rust or a bad brake pipe on her.

So shall be my daily for now, with aim to sorting a few paint marks before winter.

Ive never owned a car that long, infact its taken me all over Europe and back and bar sill things like a flat battery / ran out of diesel on route to petrol station has only left me stranded twice. A water pump at 180k and then when rear arm bent due to rust and old age, but was able to fit space saver and drive him carefully.

Over 1/4 million hard hard towing, contential and short journey miles on her. Testament to what these cars can do.

Some recent pics of the old girl

Driving along the front of the now Mg UK, but formally mgrover factory in Longbridge.

The picture of us and our cars in classic car weekly, and she's just visable so I can claim she's magazine featured. Lol.

Parked at the end.

And one last wash before she goes to her new home Sunday.
