Default nice one Lidl

For my sins I got dragged round a few shops today - one of them was for the w/e shop at Lidl's.

In front of us was a lady in the checkout queue who was having a bit of a bad day. A yogurt ended up on the floor - the staff at Lidl's acted instantly and a replacement appeared.

Then after this lady had paid for everything and she was just sorting her bags out, she dropped a jar of sauce - glass and sauce everywhere. I felt for the lady as it was not going well for her.

Again - the Lidl staff acted instantly - cleared it up and got her a replacement, said it was OK and hoped this lady had a good Easter.

So well done Lidl's - your staff/staff training was impressive.

Credit where credit is due.

That is nice, and encouraging.

I have noticed nowadays that they quickly react to large queues at the tills, by opening more, and announcing the opening with quite a few minutes notice.

Customer service in supermarkets is sooo much better now than it was years ago, just a shame that the same level of service can't be found everywhere.

I go to my local Sainsburys quite a lot. I went in to get a sandwich a bottle of water but there was no water left. I asked one of the workers there if they had any more. The guy with his miserable face said he will go check and asked me to wait there. I waited and waited and he didn't come back. I walked up a couple of aisles and there he was having a natter and a laugh with one of his co-workers. Wasn't too chuffed about that. IS IT COZ I IZ BLACK?!

I doubt it. More likely cos he was a NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-.

My local tesco is fab. 3 times one of my children have been sick in it all over the floor and they couldn't be nicer. My other local Tesco was amazing when one of my kids done a disappearing act. Within seconds of me reporting it, the machine had swung into action and staff appeared out of nowhere to look for him. I am a big Tesco fan. My fav supermarket out the bigs ones.

Tell us which Tesco, we'll avoid it when you're shopping!
