Same thing Tom, only the files are different. If you pop your maps card into your computer, you'll see the IGO map files on it, good idea to copy them btw
The cards are the same So, in effect, if you copy the files from the maps card to your computer, you can then transfer them to another card, do you see what I mean

I see exactly what you mean Ron, however I don't have a card with the igo map files on to copy to my computer. That is why I was hoping to be able to buy a card with all those files already on it.

You could buy it direct from Sean I believe. It's under the navigation & maps section on his website.

Cheers

Stuart

Hi Stuart,
Unfortunately Sean is temporarilly out of stock, that's why I am trying to source a replacement for the short term and as a backup thereafter.
Regards
Tom.

Unless your phone has an card slot it won`t work as the app looks for the card, very likely the same for your ios phone.
I had iGo on an old phone (Android) which had extended memory slots, I think the OS then was Gingerbread so that`s going way back in terms of Android operating systems.

Hi Ken,
I'm not looking for a card for the phone, but for the head unit.
Regards
Tom.

can,t say for sure if they are 100% so just put in the search box on ebay
IGO 8 MAPS ANDROID or WINDOWS CE but pretty sure your,e after the android version,
you can also find it to download but you need to do a bit of jiggery pokery wlth the files you get them from using a file sharing site but you need to be careful
as this is how you can get a virus on your,e PC.
Either way your,e decision.

I am at a loss here Tom,

You sent your old (faulty) card back and we are replacing it (in the post today) for a new one

Once your new copy has arrived, as suggested by others, make a back up copy to your computer.
