That looks cooked to perfection Jeff There was some corned beef hash left over from yesterday so I made some pasties with it.
Yes the senior man is very much missed.

Last of the Christmas online shopping delivered this evening & they delivered a big bag of frozen sprouts that I didn't order & haven't been charged for, Couldn't have been a nice joint of beef or something eh! I wonder what Brussels sprouts soup is a thing?

See from the post in the general section that Bob, in fact, broke his ankle when he fell on the beach the other day. Hope it heals quickly Bob.

Good morning Bob,

Jessica and I send you the best for an uneventful recovery.

Hopefully your friends and neighbours will help you out over Christmas with groceries, visits and anything else you need.

Are you in hospital?

Do take care.

Hi Phil,

No not in hospital but not at home either, a very good friend has insisted that I stay at hers as she lives in a bungalow here in Saltash. My neighbours have been absolutely amazing. And the NHS were outstanding in looking after me.

I’m now in plaster from my knee to my toes, and will be for at least 6 weeks.
Two breaks in the ankle and a chipped bone in the bone just below the knee.

Lots of pills to take, plus I have to have an injection in my tummy every evening to prevent DVT in my leg.

So my birthday and Xmas are going to be totally different this year.

I hope you and Jessica have a lovely time over the festive period and that both of you are on the mend.

I think it’s time to retire from the stunt business Bob. Hope it doesn’t put too big a dampener on Christmas.
