Fabulous V8 for sale if you can afford it!!
Wow, have a look at this car!
£34,000 but well worth it for a V8 don't you think? I don't know where it's been but it has 20 miles on the clock(?) If I had the money I'd definitely go for it. https://www.autovillage.co.uk/used-c...yhill_14579752 |

This one has been mentioned many times before & we've always wished them luck selling it at that price
The problem is not only the price, would you really want to put more miles on it & it'll be top price VED if you did want to drive or even keep it on the road.....ouch. Last edited by mh007; 16th October 2020 at 08:19.. |

Actually only a fiver off of £35k. It's been for sale for 13 years to my knowledge, but recently increased in price from £29k. Would probably need a fairly costly "recommissioning" too, knowing how much ZT 260's and 75 V8's hate even a winter "hibernation", let alone 16 years.
Then there is the colour ... One did sell at auction for £19,244 recently with just 2,500 miles on the clock, in the same colour (the seller would have got about 4k less). That gives you some idea of the depreciation rate of your 35k if you were to drive it! . Last edited by DeeJ; 16th October 2020 at 10:05.. |

That's what shows up a newbie round here of course - 13 years? And they haven't yet thought maybe it's a bit overpriced etc? Good point about the adding miles adn top priced VED. It's just for show in a car museum somewhere, then.
what colour would enhance it do you think? I've never liked the gold myself, can go for silver like my old 45 but I like the darker greys personally. I'm not a V8 person either so don't know what colours they were available in. Last edited by Janeflute; 16th October 2020 at 13:55.. Reason: adding something |

Don't think I missed any? Some were just for Rovers, some just MG's. Some are very rare, with just one or two cars made, like Saffron and Rio Red. I believe that example(s) of all those colours still exist, either in 75 V8 or ZT(-T) form. David Last edited by DeeJ; 16th October 2020 at 16:59.. |

I sat in that car in about 2012 when I was there getting bits for my Sterling (I don't know if they still do but it was a good source for second hand parts).
I got the impression the guy that owns the business is a bit... eccentric. There were loads of used 25s, 45s and 75s kept outside with silly prices on that nobody would ever pay.
