Unhappy Pause on acceleration

Hi all,

I have noticed recently that when I accelerate I seem to get a slight pause before I get any acceleration. I have a synergy2, air intake mod, cleaned PCV and cleaned EGR.
I was just wondering if anybody else has had his problem and if i is an easy fix.

Thanks in advance.

PS Does it sound like intercooler seals?

Thanks for the reply. I will try to check it out over the weekend before it gets any worse.
