Apologies to the OP.--Lol.

QUOTE---MG John.--Talking of Wasps, how about this. A spare ( pool of spares ) MG Montego I had stored for some years revealed a freshly constructed Wasp's nest suspended from part of the bonnet. The outer layer of wasp chewed "paper" was still quite wet, soft and pliable. So fresh it had not started to dry. It was about the size of an Orange. One constructed in a thorn bush in my Cousin's front garden was the size and shape of a Rugby Ball. Remarkable thing to see.

Just had to have one removed from the top of a 40ft pine tree in our garden.
18 inches in diameter.--------Full of immigrant Asian wasps.

Kill you just by looking at you.--

Specialist injected the nest with some sort of chemical. Very effective.

NOW back to air filters.-----I read in a post above that somebody changed theirs every year.---WOW.

I'm on filter number 2 on my 2003 car.----Regular fuel checks show that I'm getting over 50mpg. Perhaps there is no need to change them so often unless you do high mileages or drive in the desert somewhere.---

In normal driving the filter is running at about 10% or so of its maximum capacity.--

I have a K&N filter on my motorbike and it doesn't seem to make any difference at all.-----
