Annoyed! Friend of mine asked me to put her 5 month old Great Dane on Gumtree. She admits it was an impulse buy. Lovely dog, daft as a brush, the problem is she has small dogs (couple of Shih Tzus) as well, when they start running around playing the Dane joins in, its like having a Clydesdale horse thundering around. She's had big dogs before, she's had small dogs but the combination is just too much of a handful!

Four people responded to the ad, seemingly very keen, two pulled out and now I can't get a response from the remaining two

I know what you mean Steve and will be doing the same. I missed Judge Deed tonight, but a mate said a Moonstone tourer came into a shot. Have an enjoyable night

Evening all, Still chucking it down here, It's been a 'orrible day. Not tested the dash cam doohicky yet as I'm not taking the car out of the garage in this downpour to test it.

Smoked rainbow trout from Aldi it's absolutely orgasmic with new spuds & asparagus.

Film this evening was 'Spiderman Home coming'. I lasted 20 minutes before I switched it off, It was Meh!. not a patch on the old Spidey films.

The bad luck continues ! Had the van in for MOT, failed, 2 holes in inner offside sill, one suspension bush worn giving excess play, and 2 brake pipes corroded. £120 for the welding, and whatever the pipes and bush come to plus labour, and two days interrupted work for me.

You certainly are having a bad time Richard, what with the old biddie who dented your van, the ladder accident with the injuries you sustained and now this. I am sorry this has happened. I was hoping to say something positive to cheer you up.

I was thinking about starting a group for the navel starers, the anal retentives and the constipated members on the forum. That could be the next query on the forum ...my plenum is bunged up?.....

Morning Troop's, another rainy start here just for a change. I have a bit of a cold at the moment probably due to this changeable British weather that we have to endure .

Bright sunshine here

Which is an improvement on the disaster yesterday afternoon.

Left the shop for Ipswich Audi in lovely sunshine, started taking the photos when a deluge fell on us.

In the rain my camera (which is weather sealed) decided enough was enough and the rear screen decided to flicker then go off

We had to stop the photo shoot anyway as it was chucking it down.
I stripped the camera down in the car and put the heating on and drove home.

Camera has spent the night with all seals open laying over a bowl of dried rice in the airing cupboard.

I hope it is okay as I'm out all next week working and if still not working it will be off to Colchester Camera Repair and see if I can hire a loan camera body in the meanwhile

If I had known a couple of months back that I was going full time as a professional photographer I wouldn't have sold my other camera body.
Either way, this tells me now that I do need to have a back up body should this happen again as my camera is no longer my hobby thing, it is my tool to earn me a living!

I'll let you all know if the camera is working a bit later, want to give it as much time as possible to dry out before trying to power it up again.
