Valeo key fob - where to get them from..
Hi all,
I am after a new key fob for one of my 75's due to the rubber buttons perishing.. dont mind whether its a flip type or not.. So, has anyone recently got any pointers for a good, not too expensive supplier? the last one I bought was an ebay special and needed some internal modification before it worked correctly.. Kev |

Load of original (non flip) type on eBay, usually cheap as chips and good quality too.

A lot of the new Ebay keys are naff quality. I remember (Big) Russ saying Brian and himself had to hunt to find good new keys. Might be worth dropping one of them a PM, see if they can point you in the right direction.

I tend to have a look in the scrappies, easy to swap the blades over if you find a few sets lying about. Made myself a nice spare like that. Bought one of the Ebay ones, wouldn't let me click buttons and when it did it stayed on and drained the battery.
Not worth the fiver to be honest.

I've bought 3 from different eBay sellers in the past and they've all been fine.

and as far as the ebay ones go - I had snags with the last lot I bought, as the molding inside was poor and I had to trim lots to allow for correct operation of the buttons.. so I am abit reluctant to get one from there again for that reason.. Kev |
