Someone been using MS Office Blue then?!

It's a pain, the way it saves as docx. Following a recent format I installed MS Office 2003, and when I tried to open certain documents all I saw was blocks etc.

So I need one too!

You should be able to download this from microsoft, the older versions of MS Office <2007 will need a compatability pack to read docx

For fun rename the file .ZIP and open it in winzip. You can see the document in it's native XML format with any pictures as separate files.

DOCX is just a way of removing the Microsoft only format and making it an open standard. Quite cool. You will see some style sheets, an XML document plus a few other files. All word does is format it for the screen. You can get quite a few programs that will open them including the latest versions of open office.
