.lrc file help !
I have an mp3 player which has the capability to display lyrics for the songs.
Sounds simple enough, just load the Mp3 file and the .lrc file making sure they have the same file name and when you choose the song the lyrics pop up. Has anybody done this as I am having problems downloading the .lrc files from the net and i get the impression its not so simple after all ? Any help/advice appreciated.

My cousin uses this place
http://www.lrcfiles.com/ She says the files there work, but I don't use them myself so can't help you on that

Whether Windows recognises the file type or not is irrelevant in any copy/move/delete/etc file process.
I'm not expert on .lrc files but are there different types? Or does your mp3 player require the .lrc files to reside in a special directory or in the same directory as the music file? Does the music file itself need something changing in it's meta data (IDv3 etc) tags to enable the use of its corresponding .lrc file? Lots of questions and sorry if they seem obvious but sometimes it's the obvious things we miss. |

If it is a proper .lrc file you should be able to read the lyrics. |

Thanks for the advice, it does show the lyrics in notepad so i guess i can now accept that i have a bona fide .lrc file and work on problems with my mp3 player or the naming convention
