Brian,
Sounds like an great plan to put your time, money and effort into the R8 and enjoy. You could do the same with the ZT and feel flat that you've kept something you don't enjoy.

At least you have the option to rescue as much as you can from the ZT to recycle for your other vehicles or for us fellow owners, so will live on in part[s]!
