Democracy
Yes, it is very interesting how people bang on about the importance of free speech, the right to vote, the ability to make decisions.
Soon as they get a vote from the people they don't like and it is We need another vote....we don't like the result. People voted for the wrong thing...they didn't understand what they voted for.... Like it or not it was a democratic decision with a good electoral turnout. Over 70% of the people took part. That is a very good turnout compared with most elections. Now , I am not saying what will happen and what will be good or bad but the result is the result. It was a true reflection of the feelings in the different parts of the UK. We must now decide whether we all fill with doom or get on with it. It is very patronising to say folk didn't know what they voted for. Chris |
