Front passenger seat stopped working
The front passenger seat has stopped working, I have checked all the 30amp fuses and they are all ok, is there any simple test, can i put a meter on anything or is it a seat out job? Does the seat have more than one motor?
Thanks in advance

Yes it has two motors. Fore aft and backrest.
Start at the big black plug underneath. You should have one pin 12v with ignition on, another always 12v. Early cars have a relay, this coming out or failing would cause the same problem. Edit: the Orange yellow will be live all the time, check fuse 21. the orange white should be live with ignition on (not accs, full ign) check F 25 if not. When I bought mine the driver's seat adjustments were not functioning. Took it straight into the auto-electrical chappie next door to where I work. All was cured by renewing the operating switch...... which was a lot less expensive than I had imagined! Lots of other options, I know, but have you tested the switch?
