Default Gliptone scuffmaster question

I recently purchsed some Deep Sea Green and Sandstone leather dye as part of a Gliptone kit. It is possible to use the scuff master leather dye on plastic parts? My steeringwheel airbag has some damage that could be colored in but I am not sure if the leather dye will set in properly. Has anyone tried this?

Thanks
