I can see what they were thinking ... trying to save you money with their very own creation of a pair of Jimmy Chew shoes.

G'day fellas - it's a lot cooler this morning, and better for it. I need to put the caravan spare wheel back into its cradle, and re-fit it under the 'van - not the easiest of jobs as anyone who has done it will agree. I had to take it out and take the wheel to the garage yesterday as the valve had developed a crack where it sits in its recess in the wheel and was leaking air.
Nice to find an old fashioned garage who removed the tyre from the rim, fitted a new valve and refitted the tyre - £9.26 !!
If that had been one of the major tyre chains it would have been a "new tyre needed Sir - and you should really have two new ones fitted to the road wheels, so that all three tyres are identical"

Morning all, cloudy with the odd sunny interval and a fresh cool breeze blowing. I must be liking this cooler as this is the second day I've slept in, Must be catching up on lost sleep from those muggy nights.
