Default 75 / ZT Availability

Just been reading the local rag's "motoring" (ie usedcar sales) supplement. I guess most locals do one on either Thurs/Fri/Sat.

Anyway roughly 2,000 cars for sale in it, so how many 75's / ZT's ??

Not a volume car, so...

well not one Zt, and only 7 75's
of the 7, three were at the ex MGR dealer, three at other dealers and one private.

Again of the seven, 4 were 'W' reg and one 'V' reg.

Why so few?, could it be that current owners know what we all know??

Your thoughts

Pete

If I was to be honest I think the time of year isn't good to sell anyway, but I do think that many of them are now in the hands of longer term owners who will not let them go very quickly. Obviously the less there are for sale then the more demand will grow which will help residuals, particularly diesels.

And of course, the fact that they are incredible cars speaks for itself!

My local ex (but still selling and servicing) MGR dealer does not seem to be able to get enough. They sell very quickly. They sent a letter wanting to buy the ZT I bought from them and when I went to see them to tell them I had traded it in for my 75 they wanted to buy that

Hi
When I was looking for my 75 cdt back in march I missed a few, I think when MGRover went under people saw the media saying half price MGRovers which I dont think actually happened, but then the public had a good look and realised that actually thay are quite good cars.

Thumbs up

I for one wouldn't of entertained a ZT (cause it's Rover) until the price dropped, therefore your probably right, and now I know one thing, unless something major happens to my diesel it ain't going anywhere as it's a beautiful car and why by something tinny when you can have a piece of luxury.

Ever since I started driving I've always aspired to own an uber-cool car. Started out driving my parents Honda Civic which was good car. Then my parents decided (with me driving as well as them) that we needed two cars. So I got kicked out the Civic and into a Nissan Micra - man that was a culture shock.

About two years ago I bought myself a Vauxhall Astra (2002 plate, SRi) Very nice car - and I thought "Yeah. This is cool car."

But now, as of September this year, I'm driving the best there is. Nothing else I see on the road makes me go "I want that car" because, I'm already in it.

Ace.
