Timing being a tooth out usually results in a misfire at idle which can't be seen off with new plugs, coils etc.

After running it for quite a while, and with other (relatively minor) problems that I've come across & put right (not really related to the original fault), I decided to check the cambelt again. I didn't seem happy with it, had some misfire at low revs, and hesitation on pulling away etc. To cut a long story short, yes, it was a tooth out. So stripped it down and we spent a long while getting it right or so we thought. Seemed to turn over by hand ok. Last thing yesterday I tried to start it, went half a rev or so on the starter then stopped. Anyway, I need a replacement rear (RH) cylinder head. No.1 cyl has the valve heads broken off, and on closer examination, the camshaft end has broken behind the pulley wheel at the rear. HELP! Someone must have an engine they are breaking?
