I'm not 100% certain on the Xtrons, but the Chinese DD units are often similar. Anyway take a look at this thread as it may provide you with the answer you are looking for and possibly you could do yourself.

Did you get this sorted Phil?

In summary, the steering wheel controls link up to a black box bolted to the car body inside the cavity where you will have fitted your after market unit.

In my original Kenwood equipment, this box had a small blue LED that poked out of the front of the fascia, but this is totally redundant if you've fitted something else.
In order to make it work (and this is something I'm about to do this afternoon) you have to use two of the wires (not the 12v source one) that are in the black-sheathed bundle leading to/from the black box and wire them in to the right connections on your unit.

Work on the 1.8T

New pads &cs all round, Bonnet Catch Reversed, Plenums Cleaned, Renewed Selected Radiator Hoses, New Stainless Steel Twin Exhaust,Metal T-Piece, Head Skimmed and MLS Head Gasket, New Cambelt & Alternator Belt, New PRT & Water Pump, New Air Duct Hose, New Radiator, New plugs, coil packs & HT leads, Golden Radiator Resistor.
Car then blew up and I gave up.
Bought the ZT 190 instead !
