Didn´t Eric Morcombe have a coronary on the motorway and people who stopped thought he was up to his usual tricks May have got it wrong

Eric died backstage at the Roses Theatre in my local town of Tewkesbury during a performance.

Didn´t know that...... thanks. I think that he had one of his heart attacks or really bad angina on a motorway or the like.

Tewkesbury is a nice place. When my boys were small we were on our way from Bournemouth up to my cousins in Scotland and stumbled on the 2 day enactment they did there in 1996. It was a great 2 days and the boys had a fantastic time shooting bows and arrows and having their noses pulled by the jester

Are you sure you stumbled on the Medievel enactment or just another roudie weekend with the local lads????

Well they looked quite smart and presentable in their uniforms and someone asked me to mind their horse! So you are probably right, it must have been the local -enactment- lot

Thinking about getting train tickets in France................. A Swedish friend of mine told me about the time he and another Swede were getting tickets in Paris. Their french is not too good (to put it midly) so my mates friend goes up to the ticket desk and says......... Two to Toulose......... And the ticket seller says.......... Tiddly deee....... I think they got the tickets in the end
