on your marks (asda event)10th august 2013 Bruntingthorpe, Leicestershire
SATURDAY 10th AUGUST 2013 SAT NAVS: BATH LANE BRUNTINGTHORPE On Your M arks has always been about seeing and doing the unusual, below is the list of confirmed items for this years show and we hope we have kept up that genre of the unusual. It is with great regret that we will have to change the entrydonation per car to £10. The cost of everything has gone through the roof and we have managed to keep the price down for the last twelve years. Everything else inside the show is still based on a £5 note. We will be at our usual venue, Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground, Leicestershire. This has been our 'home' for the past 12 years and is ideally suited for the type of day we organise. By request from Bruntingthorpe, we have been asked to move our day from a Sunday to a Saturday because of local environmental noise issues. On Your Marks charities Well we must be mad but we are going to do it all again on the Saturday 10th aug 2013 at Bruntingthorpe in Leicestershire, and this year we will be doing the show for "Orchid “ the cancer charity. And we will also be supporting some children’s cancer charities at the show as well. UPDATE; THEY HAVE JUST STATED THEY HAVE INCREASED THE GATE PRICE FROM £5 TO £10 PER CAR SO STILL A GOOD PRICE IF YOU HAVE A FEW WITH YOU. On your marks is a very big Private ASDA event that was set up to collect money for charity and is for workers of/ guests of ASDA and is entry via pass only plus (last year) a £5 entrance fee ( i will advise if higher this year) but via my local MG club i can get passes to this event if you don't mind parking with some assorted MG's as we get given a parking area for the no. of cars listed so we will need what car you have so they can sort out the parking . many car groups have been to this event and has many family events going on And if you like very cheap clothes from asda they also have a tent full of cut price asda clothes from underwear to suites and children's stuff as well . last year my first had many stunt shows and rides of lots of stuff from hover craft to 44 ton HGV's . you can drive a big hgv around the track . i did they had air displays last year and many displays on the ground from model tanks to rally cars which i think you can pay for a ride passenger in ... it is held at Bruntingthorpe, Leicestershire 10th august 2013 . it gets very busy so be advised to arrive early and the adsa clothes sale is like the new years sales and gets very busy .... . more info to follow as i get up to date stuff as this for now is just feeling the water to see if any of our lot want to go . see below a link i put up to last years event to give you a hint of what it was like ..... link to last years http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...d.php?t=121874 1/ Mr and Mrs starbug in MGF confirmed 2/ The South Leics.
