Default Regrets I have lots but this is my biggest

Hi guys I was just having a look through my folder if bits and I saw a advert the garage gave me when I bought my car it's the car in the photo. It's the car I think mist about and must admit I really really miss it. I've never really felt like this about a car. I love my 75 no doubt about it but I was such an idiot getting rid of my zr.Here's a picture of it it's a 1.4 105 + model and it had proper half leather sunroof and a 160 bodykit. Just Reading sikelshs step son wanting one made me think about it. Now I'm off to have a little cry for what I can describe as the most funcar I have ever owned.

Do a bit of detective work Thomas, try and trace it and buy it back if it means that much.

I wouldn't know where to start. Luckily my bills are soon to be paid off so if this came up again then I would definately buy it again and never get rid

Start by contacting whoever you sold it to, and so on.How long ago did you move it on?

I sold it about 4 years ago to the garage I bought it from also I bought a 160 zr from them but have no feelings for that one. I remember when it like it was yesterday the owner wanted to give me £4500 px but had the person I was dealing with arguing with him saying this car is better condition now than when it left the dealer the first time in the end I got£5000 back for it.

I love the yellow mk2s I bought mine when the empire went down it was 9 months old and had only 1949 miles on when I bought it. Are you on the mgzr forum?

I regret selling most of the cars I no longer own... Rover 827si, Rover 2000TC, Austin Maestro 1.3HLE, Vanden Plas 1500, and the Saab 900 Convertible which I will be putting on the market tomorrow!

it's one of these things though, when you look back you only remember the good times. It's like when I got my my spectrum out the loft a while back- wasn't as good as i remember!

Why did you prefer the 1.4 to the 160 Thomas? The 160 is much higher spec and can be made into quite a little rocket.
