The dog is getting a very long walk later today (just to convince myself I have walked off the half box of quality st)

Turkey and Rib Roast yesterday,today its Whole Leg of Lamb and yesterdays Turkey and Beef,and the Sausagemeat Stuffing,served with Bubble and Squeak

Glad we got the Land Rover its easier to get in and out with a rather large belly

Tomorrow I shall fast all day

We've got a joint of smoked gammon, which has been in the slow cooker for ages - that, plus some cold turkey from yesterday, should set me up nicely for another attempt to reduce my stocks of alcohol

Good afternoon all, currently hot and windy. Been incapacitated with a heavy cold for the past 2 days. Someone else has the runs, another has developed Cellulitis and another - a farmer, was to fly in from Scotland, but he shot himself in the head. His wife drove him straight to hospital and they operated within 40 minutes. One part of the bullet took out an eye and the rest grazed his optic nerve. Count my blessings really.
