Afternoon all, No rain or thunder here as yet

It's very muggy indeed. SWMBO wants salad so it's Prawn salad for Tea.

The new (to me) PC arrived this morning, very smooth & fast compared to my old duo core antique, It came with Win 7 Pro installed, the guy said all the updates have been done.....Yeah 185 updates installing & 3 hours later It's still not done. You don't get all this palaver with Linux where your PC is useless until it's finished downloading & installing them.

I received an email this evening, from the hospital telling me, nil by mouth on Friday 21/7. I am to walk to the operating theatre for 2pm, have a few shots then go home once I have come round

still waiting to hear about a date for the angioplasty

and aneurysm op...

Hope you don't have to walk out as well, I know there is a shortage of hospital beds but

Believe it or not Jeff, there was a chance of the op being cancelled, so I rang up the insurance company and they have agreed to pay, so that it can still go ahead. The buy one, get one free was pure fantasy dressed up by the surgeon to get the contracts. Something I had not foreseen.
