Yep, I would say I can't believe that but I'm not really surprised. Just a reminder to all of us that if you see a situation where you would consider it your civic duty to get involved then don't, it's not worth the hassle.

I notice that the fare dodger hasn't actually been charged yet, they are still considering that!

well you stop referring to the boy as a fare dodger ,,facts are he paid his fares and was told by the ticket guy it was cheaper for him to buy 2 singles ticket ,one one way and one the other,only for the thick ticket guy to give 2 the same way ... .... you dont know if that is true or not so you cant call him a fare dodger ,,oh he has been charged ..lucky for him the boys father was a placid soul ,had it been my son the big man would of hoped the police got to him before i did . it is right he should be done for assault.

Yeah, Chris and I'm the easter bunny. You don't know he paid any more than we know he didn't. Judging by his language, attitude and demeanour, I know which way I'd vote though.

How do you know that he did buy 2 tickets? Do you have some information you wish to share?

I find it strange that if he did we haven't seen pics of both tickets plastered all over the media? If he can prove that he did buy what he thought were the right tickets then that goes some way however it still does not excuse his appalling and very disrespectful behaviour towards a member of the railway staff who was just doing his job.
