Default Fuel tank Leak advise please.

Hiya all how's everyone doing hope your all keeping okay.

Need some advise please.

Today I could see the rainbow and the lovely smell of petrol fumes.
My fuel tank has decided too spring a little leak
Do one job and other appears lol.

Only had the escort on the road a week and its already starting test my patience.

I don't really want too spend anymore then I have too already spent £300 on the car and I'm not too sure if I'll keeping it long term.

Truth is time too get out there I'll be a Rover 75 owner again soon after xmas after a making a deal with my good friend Andy aka trikey.

I might be selling the escort after getting the 75 which I really do want and I can carry out my top secret project highly classified level 10 security clearance.

Without having too replace the fuel tank and sender unit is there anything I can use too patch up this very thin crack which is on the seam of the fuel tank.

Can't put more then a tenner or it will leak.
