Reverse warning not working?
Chaps
I have standard reverse sensors on my car. When I put into reverse my car gives a long single bleep (maybe 4 seconds?) and does not give me a bleep warning when reversing to something close? I assume there is a problem somewhere? Any ideas? Cheers! |

The long beep when engaging reverse is a fault indication. This thread might help http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...arking+sensors

On checking - 2 of my sensors appear to be broken!

I bought myself a set of 4 'used and working' sensors from eBay for £25 delivered..
It sounded cheap enough to me? I hope I can swap them over without removing the bumper!? |

It's a bumper off job, it's very simple to do
The sensor clips in the holder, don't try and remove it in one

There is a rather poorly made connection from the sensors, to the car's loom, near the rear bumper. Water gets in and rots the copper out. It will probably be worth checking that, before spending on replacement sensors.
