Default Front subframe

Are all diesel front subframes the same as there seems to be very little information as to petrol and diesel being different and if pre facelift were different hopefully some one knows

The front subframes are the same, only the bushings are different. Rubber in the Rovers and Aluminium in the MG's. The Aluminium bushes give a slightly stiffer feel, but those who have fitted them to Rovers report little difference between the two.

I thought that there was a difference in brackets fitted, whether auto or manual.?

There are unused mounting points on my subframe, one on the Front N/S for the autobox oil cooler my manual doesn't have, another unused one on the front O/S that's utilised for the V6. I think they are all interchangeable with the exception being the V8.
