Hi all. Matt here. I have decided to look for a 75 CDT (budget upto £5000) after loving the car at first sight.

Can anyone give me some tips on problem areas to look out for when i'm viewing a 75.

Also anyone selling , im in Southern Hampshire. Thanks, MATT

Hello!

well keep your eyes on the "ctdi96" near you on ebay for sale from the tourist board. might go too high, but its got everything you could ever want.

check cooling fan comes on and off when you turn aircon on/off... otherwise you can count on about £400 fitted for replacing the unit.
They go on forever, so just check it has an absolutely full history. Clutches are expensive and are a weakness. Autos are slower, more thirsty, higher tax but might also be a sound choice!
