Morning, sunny but a bit breezy. Need to start thinking about getting stuff organised for next week, funeral down in Torquay. Full day to travel, funeral, not sure if we're staying a day or two after and another full day to travel back.

Phew! it's a hot one out there.
Just been putting together some flat pack garden furniture as the missus says the old one is scruffy there's nowt wrong with it. I must be getting better at putting it together as I didn't curse or kick owt there was a fly in the ointment as usual with this flat pack stuff, two bolts that had damaged threads Good job I went to 'Wilko's' the other week to grab a big bag of pick n mix screws/bolts/washers/nuts for 3 quid.

Getting hot here but still a stiff breeze. Balancing act between staying in the sun and out of the wind.
Who knew you can get a black tie in Tesco! Last edited by stevestrat; 22nd June 2018 at 13:05.. |

Spent the afternoon cleaning the upright freezer in the shed. Everything was transferred to the chest freezer in the garage then chipped as much ice as I could, more ice in there than sank the Titanic! Just about done. Found loads of containers and plastic bags with God knows what in them . . . . others who are married to someone from the Far East will know what I'm talking about!
