Default 500 MG6's sold in one day!

June 9, the international professional car rental group Avis Europe (AVIS EUROPE) and MG UK Motor signed a global strategic partnership agreement and ordered 500 units in one fell swoop MG6. Avis Europe's chief executive, Mr. Pascal Bazin said in his speech, "MG6 is a real 'European standard, British design' model."

Nice one!

In my opinion it will damage the residuals of the 6 even more. The industry anticipates a 25% residual after 3 years- meaning you could get a top spec one for about £5000 in 3 years, I can't wait, i might just buy one for a runaround!

Have Avis actually bought them as the MG6 sales so far are dire!

Those I've spoken to that have actually driven one think it's a very good package, and frankly I'll listen to those that have driven it rather than those that seem to want it to fail

Not going to make any friends with this one but it's an MG not a Rover - that brand no longer exists. the 75 is no more, no matter how good it was/is, the 6 is not going to have walnut and leather

I for one hope it succeeds and it breathes new life into Longbridge and the surrounding area

I've worked in China - if they want it to succeed they'll do all that is necessary - then it's down to the build

OK off soap box - prepares to be shot down
