Default Auto Express 'Top Story'

Just got the latesy copy of Auto Express and their lead story is about the new MG5, and goes on to talk about the new range being launched in the coming few years. After disappointing small articles about the MG6 this is far more positive - they even reveal that Rubin Barrichello's Uncle has approached Longbridge (refuse to call it MG Birimingham !) for MG franchises. All good stuff. I truly adore my ZT, but its good to see new life coming to the brand, and in particular they have confirmed there is going to be a new 'TF' sports car. The product planning Director Li Tao stated '' If you don't have a sports car the brand doesn't look so robust''.

This weeks edition tests the new saloon version - and reveals tha the name of the saloon is to be the MG6 Magnette. This revives the name of the famous 1950s Z cars - the ZA & ZB. Nice to see them using a great name of the past, more relevant too than the dubious GT name given to the hatch.
