Hi there, i have an invoice for the orange clip in all paper work that came with the car so i assume its been done, but i have not checked yet, i thought the as you but dismised it because of that inoice, maybe the rubber o ring is not seated right. i also read on this forum that if it is ffs then it wont srart at all, my car starts but needs throttle most of the time to fire up or it just spins over untill sometimes it fires up, but if i use the throttle it will start straight away.

How would i check the cam sensor, take out and clean it, how are they checked please,

T4 will show it up if faulty. You can not clean them, they just wear out, causeing trouble starting from WARM. If your car struggles to start from cold as well it probably is'nt the camshaft sensor
